The Serenity Spa uses Temple Spa, Isghga, O.P.I and Aroma Stone Therapy products in their treatments. It offers a large variety of different massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and body wraps. 3. The Spa at Ramside, Ramside Hall Hotel


Located on the outskirts of Durham city centre, the Spa at Ramside is a bright and modern spa that boasts a thermal suite, five pools, saunas, steam rooms and a mud rasul. The Spa at Ramside is an incredibly luxurious and sophisticated facility with wellness at the heart of it. The spa is the perfect pamper zone for those wanting to switch off from the city lifestyle and descend into relaxation.

Within the spa, there is a 25-metre swimming pool, a large hydrotherapy pool, a balcony infinity pool and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. 4. Rockcliffe Hall Spa, Rockcliffe Hall Hotel


Located within the red-brick five-star Rockcliffe Hall Hotel, Rockcliffe Hall Spa is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The spa promises to provide a special experience to all visitors whilst they take in the panoramic views on offer. This award winning facility has an excellent reputation in the local area and is regularly used by the Middlesbrough Football Team who train in the nearby facilities within the grounds.

Within the spa, there is a thermal bathing suite which includes an ice fountain, tepidarium, tropicarium and caldarium.
